This is VERY VERY VERY BAD news for Mclaren.

The list of racers REJECTING Mclaren is growing even bigger.

Now Nico Rosberg has rejected mclaren!!!

Will Hamilton be the only racer for mclaren in 2008?

Will Hamilton have to learn to drive both the race cars at the same time?

Maybe Daddy Hamilton will have to race the second mclaren car from time to time!

:)

Nico is 100% right:
"You [the British media] have got to get the right perspective. You can't argue with his performance because he has had the world champion as a team-mate and that is all the perspective you need. But no other rookie has ever had the equipment he had," he pointed out.

the list is decreasing every second. rosberg has rejected them, sutil wants to stay commited to force india. tis a sad story when a quality driver at the back of the grid rejects a team like mclaren.

hamilton only has 2 real contenders for his seat. kovalainen and his dad

Just the proof that F1 insiders know that Alonso was screwed by his own team to promote Super rookie, so if they can do it to 2xwdc, who else would like to ruin his chances, also explains why LH is not moving from macca: no daddy ron, no dominant driver, all just hype....but we know that already, aren't we???

Yes, I'd like to drive for McLaren if I had Alonso for teammate. This would ensure I get a decent result, maybe even finish second on championship. Yes, I'd like that. With Hamilton? No way, there's nothing for me in it.

Senna, yes, Villeneuve was certainly told to move over as he had oil leak maiden race...from the camera, onboard, Hills car was definitely getting oil dumped on it. Yes, he led 75% of race but only point I was making was that Williams were leagues ahead of any car on grid, so Villeneuves maiden season is rather hard to compare with Hamilton this season. Dean.

Dean, I stand to be corrected but if you're talking about Australia 1996 I thought JV was leading for a good portion of the race until the oil leak screwed his debut victory !!
Jotape, who wants to play a second role in ANY team,I'm not making this next comment to stir anyone OK it's just simple fact. Except Ferrari, because of its historic racing pedigree any driver would sell his soul to be a Ferrari driver AT WHATEVER COST.

Who would want to drive for McLaren? They lost the 2007 championship through shear incompetence, lost 100 million out of their 2008 budget because they did not have the decency to tell Ferrari about Stepney back in March, tried to take Kimi's championship away in the court but lied to the media about their motives, and even messed up their appeal because they did not follow the rules. On top of all that, they may yet not race in 2008 if the FIA find something new during the search at McLaren. It has to be de la Rosa, he has nowhere else to go and they are likely to have no other option. Oh, and their new PR man is Matt "why, hellO" Bishop. It's all a disaster in the making

Velocity, yes he was a rooky but the Williams was in a class on one that year, Villeneuve only had Hill to contend with, the Ferari was awful in '96, the Renaults were pension paying Berger and Alesi. He looked like he was out on a sunday stroll because he was ordered to sit behind Hill most of the time, oil leak or no oil leak. No doubt his championship winning year was harder, Newey was off with the on the rise McLaren, Schumi had a 'better car' that looked like a Williams clone but still the final year that Williams was miles ahead in every department !
