John i will have a bet with you that he is a world champ again? He is a great driver he has won the champ twice in a slower car? Only world class drivers can pull things like that off, he is a class above LH who seems to think one year in F1 makes him great?

F1 » Alonso never worried about not driving.

Decision was an easy one to make, Spaniard claims.

ummm, not worried, im not so sure, if you believe that, youll believe anything!

having said that, he may of been that arrogant to believe it, despite his team spliting tactics.

lets see how he goes with another rookie, you can bet your bottom dollar, team leader is written into his contract.

Mclaren were begging Alonso to come back. Seems like Mercedes and other Spanish sponsors were on the verge of dumping Ron Dennis and Hamilton in order to bring Alonso back.

It is a good thing that Alonso did not reverse his decision and slammed the door on mclaren. After all we still do not know if Mclaren are even going to be racing in 2008. :p

I would say that little child is the one who believe all the crap printed.
We simply do not know his side of the story, but LH already have 7 books.

To gsxrman: Yes he won his Championships in a slower car than Ferrari, but to say he's a "class above" LH? If that were the case, he would've blown the young kid away in the first 3 races while he was finding his feet... Which is what everyone expected to happen, including FA...

to oz - LH has had a free ride all year - strategies favourring him, the whole team around him, while alonso has been tretaed like ***** and was even robbed a race (hungary, the race about which all LH muppets stfu) by his own team - it wwas alonso who had the pressure on all year and it was Scamilton who threw it downt the road . Had Mc Laren not robbed hungary and given a decent car in the last races to Alosno, they would ve won the chship

Rajiv, making it up again to fit whatever you want to spout about. WHERE did it say that McLaren were begging FA to come back.

Calvin - please go and read the article from a few days back. It said that Alonso was not prepared to return back to mclaren if ron dennis was still around. Mclaren were on the verge of dumping ron dennis.

But it is too late now. Alonso slammed the door shut on mclaren.

Who knows if mclaren will even be around in 2008?! :p
