Not to point out the obvious but Schumacher didnt win at all, he lost out to Mattias Ekstrom who won the individual championship and if it wasnt for Vettel he wouldnt have got the Team event no thanks to his stall so can someone amend the title "Schumacher wins again" to something like "Schumacher: So close to victory" or something along those lines.

Dont get me wrong Schumacher is an outstanding driver and it will take a fair few years for someone to beat his records but maybe a bit more praise should be going Ekstrom's way!

Dear Michael,

i started watching F1 when Senna was still there, in my teenage years. I saw his accident and the race result and even then being so young, I understood that just then, something great and new started. I only missed maybe 6 or 7 races in all these years that you have been there and I have to admit that in 2007 i have only been watching 3. My father was a big Senna fan, but if he was still alive he would probably agree that you have been the greatest one ever to drive in F1.

Watching you race was a pleasure, seeing your determination has been a big push in my life, you are one of my personal idols whithout whom it would surely have been more difficult for me.Thamk you!

Exactly what I was about to say Rob. Schumacher was on the winning nations team but didn't win in his race in the nations cup (Vettel did it single handedly) and lost in the individual final too.

I thought the story was far more about how well Vettel did or that Schumacher was beaten by Ekstrom. Or even the brilliant overtake by Kovalainen when they ended up on the same side of the track after Schumacher stalled and they started racing for fun. Some fascinating stories yet this is what Crash.net come up

Actually Schumi was just having fun. He was really good only on buggy. But two other cars did't fit him so well.

I think you'll find Schumacher did win as it was a team event and he was part of the winning team. And they wouldn't have got past the first round without him winning the tie-break after Vettel lost to Pastrana.
