Money, money, money. Must be funny, when you're already loaded...

A translation of Carl M's comment for everyone:

"Whine whine, I'm jealous that Lewis Hamilton, a young black kid, has had more success and satisfaction in his short life than I will have in the entirety of my own, has more talent than I could ever hope for and is actually a pretty normal, nice bloke to boot, so I'm going to piss and moan about him for no good reason whatsoever"

Change the record, you are SODDING BORING!

Think of something original to say, or just don't bother. Its not your fault that you appear to be too dim to think of any constructive F1 analysis, just don't burden us with your ignorance.

It would be great if DC ended up in NASCAR with Montoya. I just wish they would take Lewis Hamilton with them!

I'd always thought DC would end up a team boss, like Horner himself. Theres a lot going on in that rather angular head. Maybe the NASCAR ruse is either a way into management by broadening his experience, or building enough cash to buy/create a GP2 or F3 team of his own (again, like Horner and his Arden outfit)?

Either way I would be sorry to see DC go.

It is only natural for blockes that young, to look for something else when they retire. Actually only Barrichello has been at F1 longer that DC. Neither of them is 40 years old yet.

Think about this: Juan Manuel Fangio's first World title came in 1951. At that time, "El Maestro" was over 40 years old. He kept racing until 1958. He was almost 50 years old.

With all due respect to Fangio, yes he did all that but with the way F1 is now i don't think it's possible to be competitive beyond 40. The cars and the speeds at which they run nowadays demand a higher level of fitness from the drivers. Not that DC is any less fit than before, but the question is how long will he be able to maintain that dedication?

Besides, he probably has made enough money in F1 to allow him to have fun elsewhere.

I'd love to see that. With Franchitti going it would be unreal having two Scots in Nascar, who would have ever thought that.

There is so much money in Nascar, I read about a driver who never finished in the top in 13 years of racing and made something like $23 million. I beleive the Daytona 500 is the most watched single race in world, maybe. It certainly gets huge viewing figures and each race has usually more than 150,000 spectators. I quite enjoy watching it when I get a chance. It may only be oval racing but there is a lot of a skill. And if it was good enough for Senna... I think he said he would like to try it as it was so different to F1
