I think Ferrari fans will only let the matter rest when McLaren fans have FULLY ADMITTED that McClaren were guilty as charged. With hindsight, and knowing what we now know, the $100 million fine was justified after all. We now know that MANY MORE people knew about the dossier than we thought and Ron Dennis was wrong all along. If the FIA had known this, the fine would probably have been greater still! More heads should roll at the MC organisation.

The Renault case is different because they never lied about what they knew and who knew what within the organisation.

Personally, I think a line should be drawn under the whole thing and we should ALL look forward to the new season as F1 fans

Ferret, fully agree. Identity theft is theft, but as you probably noticed, is only being done by one or two ferrari fanboys, as well as changing their names when they start losing an argument or to supposedly support themselves.

I think that crash needs to really look into this, which I have said before, but nothing has happened.

To all McLaren fans , I can't beleve , that you guys still can't copy with it after that they(McLaren ) team has confessed that a lot more people knew about the documents , and the reason that they send that lady to the shop is ,they didn't want
in McLarens computers . God save the Queen , please ,the team has admitted that they
are guilty of the crime ,and still you McLarens fans are trying of forgive them .

Ron Dennis should Quit , Ron Dennis should Quit , Ron Dennis should Quit .
He has been a very incompetent manager trough out the season .

Calvin: Ferrari do indeed get an extra payment over and above the normal amount but this has nothing to do with the FIA. The money comes from FOM (ie Ecclestone) and was agreed to by all the other teams when they signed the 1998 Concorde Agreement.

Presumably the other teams agreed because they recognise that Ferrari are the biggest draw in F1.

Everyone on the inside knows that Ferrari are subject to the same rules as the other teams. It's like soccer: Manchester United are more important than QPR (for the moment!) but referees apply the same rules to players from both teams.

The Italian police, not Ferrari or Mr Montezemolo, are now the biggest problem facing McLaren's top management.
