This guy is a joke. Now he''s blaming the Bridgestone tyres. So, what did he do when he had Michelin tyres the two years before that? And a best result of sixth place all season was "decent"???

Sounds like a case of someone being paid too much. He has no need to be self-critical anymore.

Move out of the way Ralf let the commited young guns take over.

Ralf lost it after his big smash in the USA, guess he has become a bit scared of putting his foot down and taking more risks.
There are winners and losers in every family, Ralf was never going to beat his brother, only to be humilated and speak a load of nonsense.
And he is over paid too.

He has no excuses whatsoever. He was one of the highest paid drivers in F1 for years, with nothing to show for it. Toyota have a yearly budget almost as big as Ferrari's. Plus they knew well in advance that Michelin were pulling out of F1. A change of tyre manufacturer does not account for years of perennial under-achievement. Renault also suffered from the tyre switch, but at least they had been F1 champs two years running, with a smaller budget than Toyota.

I still can't believe his management actually approached McLaren about taking Alonso's seat. I heard they were "politely" declined! heheheh

Sorry to beat up on a man when he's down, but this one clearly deserves it!

Actually, the only reason why Ralf was not given the Mclaren seat was because Ralf was demanding equal treatment at Mclaren.

Mclaren wanted a number 2 driver and got Heikki. Heikki has already started making excuses why he will be slower than Lewis. Ralf would never accept being number 2!

Stewy you make me laugh like ron dennis did when ralf asked about the vacant seat. Heikki would pi55 rings round Ralf. Massa will still be the only number 2 driver on the grid next year as i don't even think renault will be able to give alonso number 1 status as he requires. Today is new years day not April fools day you moppet.
