What a load of bull. Ask Massa what he job description is and he will tell you. Its to support Kimi and follow him on the track. He will pit second and run different fuel loads than Kimi. And as soon as the first race is over and Kimi is in front it will be a done deal for Massa. Nothing has changed in F1. Each MAJOR team will have a number one driver. Lewis and Alonso will also be number 1 and be treated as such. If you believe different you are only kidding yourself...

Stefano also added that there is no place within Ferrari for prima donnas.
Point well taken and understood Stefano.

McLaren should consider this point because the way their lead driver has been singing all through winter they should be cutting a new CD soon.

Kimi and Felipe, No.1 and 2 cars, No.1 and 2 on the grid, No.1 and 2 in the WDC in 2008, but not necessarily in that order.

This just illustrates a very important lesson. Ferrari understand teamwork and this is why they have achieved so much in the recent past. F1 remains a team sport, and any organization rife with internal conflict will ultimately fail to achieve winning the championships.

Ha Ha Ha

Those comments are rich coming from Ferrari fans. The sport nearly died a death with regards to Joe public supporters thanks to Ferrari's policy of letting Schumacher win under team orders on many ocassions.

Nothing's changed, it's all spin.

The sport "nearly died"? Oh please. There was a lot of controversy at at least one point when RB let MS past to take the win, but controversy and scandals do not equal death - it's sometimes quite the contrary. I think in many ways the spying scandal for example may have increased the interest in F1. Not necessarly the kind of publicity you'd ideally want, but still.

I think what Domenicali is saying here is both true and untrue. If Massa manages to get an early points advantage to KR then he'll probably be supported more in terms of strategy etcetera. But after all KR is the reigning world champion so he will definitely have this advantage in the first round. As will LH over at McLaren.

I guess this announcement means that Kimi OR Massa could win a race from the pit lane as Schumacher did?

I wonder what they'll try next to gain an advantage. Probably something as mad as saying Alonso being 2km behind Massa slowed down his qualifying lap - there's an idea.

Great news for Ferrari fans that cheating is now allowed for both drivers.

Forza Ferrari, the greatest 'sports' team that never lived.

Rubbish. Kimi was the #1 from the moment he put pen to paper for his contract signing...... to suggest otherwise is ridiculous, regardless of what is released by Domenicali or anyone else within Ferrari.

I do not think that the sport will die with this mentality of having a number one. With the amount of money that goes into the sport it would be stupid not to have a number one. I like Massa but know he is a role player. That is why he is still in the red car. RB also was a good role player. Hence the maddness from FA last year as he knows he should have been given the edge he deserved over LH. Its rare to have a rookie perform as well as LH so it was unfortunate for FA to be in that situation. This year will be different for him as he is back as a supported #1. His goal of 3 championships with 3 different teams is just on hold now. Thats why is dislikes Lewis. He ruined a good plan.

Grumpy are you realy still bitter about Schumacher winning in pit lane? If you want to blame someone for that how about the British stewards. It was a stupid penalty to begin with. Who cares if someone is passed on the formation lap. But regardless of that why wait until the last three laps of the race to penalize something that happened before the race even started? He had three laps to serve his penalty. He waited until the third lap and had a large enough lead to cross the finish line in the pit lane. In your opinion what should MS have done?

There is no such thing as equality in F1. As long as two team mates cannot pit at the same time there will never be true equality.
