Not a good day for anyone else but Ferrari really. Raikonnen was awesomely fast on Q2, Massa in Q3. Wonder what sort of strategy their running though. But on today's form they're gonna walk it,reliability withstanding

As a Toyota owner, I need to see a podium out of them. After the comments made by Alonso a couple weeks ago about Lewis, it sure is nice to see him down the order, and was really pleasing to see last week that he couldn''t make it around SEBAS (take that 2-time world champ)

Disclaimers first: I do think he's a great driver and I don't know the difference in their respective fuel loads, but if they turn out to be quite similar it's got to hurt for LH to be outqualified by Heikki already in the second round - particularly given the time it took HK to get up to speed with GF.

That said, I didn't watch the quali myself, so maybe I'm way off here. Maybe LH made a mistake?

Quite a few nice surprises here otherwise, but the major disappointment has to be Williams...

I'd like to see a reply from the person who disagreed with my comments about Toyota and Red Bull having had a good qualifying session. You think it was a poor effort? I'm not a fan of the Toyota team by any stretch of the meaning. They pour more money than most teams into F1 and have made little improvement over about 10 years, they also make some of the most boring road cars in the world, but the effort from their drivers today was outstanding and deserves to be recognised.
