I still cannot see FA going to Ferrari if he won't be defacto number one driver. He'll be in a similar or worse position than if he had remained at McLaren.

very diplomatic considering the RBs seem faster than the renaults in 2008!

I don't know why Ferrari would want him. They couldn't have him and Kimi in a team together - they would both expect to be top dog.

Anyway, since winning 2 driver's championships he's gone off the boil a bit - he was outshone by Lewis last year and I think the same's going to happen this year with Piquet (unless the Reggie show him preferential treatment - but I doubt they will if he's going to be off!)

I'm more inclined to think Honda. 2009 will be the first Brawn car, they have the cash and Alonso was looking for alternatives at a time that Honda were looking to step up their operation.

What is diplomatic about the situation? A driver with no loyalty jumping around teams.
I think FA may have been in the mosley video.

Outshoned by Piquet ... right

LAt year is over, people wjo still say LH beat FAon equal status are just blind. What can u expect from a team that cheats and whose manager, 3 races from the end , says that Alonso is the rival?

Seriously , put down the crack pipe. RD would ve never let Alonso win the chship. THta s why FA was sanctioned in Hungary when he never disobeyed any team orders, while LH did.
Still, he won 4 races and came 1 point short of the chship.

Don't know what kind of stuff you are smoking my silly boy, but I want the same thing. Ferrari will not touch me with a 10 foot pole because I'm not a team player.

My not so thoughtful boy speaks again. Try to tell Luca Di that team concept and winning WDC is an opposite concept. Go back to play with your trains my silly boy. Once again Ms Palmer is happy today.
