I still cannot see FA going to Ferrari if he won't be defacto number one driver. He'll be in a similar or worse position than if he had remained at McLaren.

Chu(mp) Chu(mp),

You think Mclaren is the only team that bends the rules?
What about Renault last year with the stolen data?
Or Benetton with their illegal fuel & underweight cars?
Or Ferrari with their illegal traction control and illegal floors?
Or Honda with an illegal extra fuel tank?

ALL teams do it, you retard. MC got caught, and Max got his long-awaited opportunity to screw them. Thats it.

Yes, RD made that comment, but after what FA did last year, I wouldn't have been surprised if they kicked him out of the team before the season ended.

Once again, you've shown how completely retarded you are. Ive seen more sense from stoned chimps at the zoo.

chu chu's got nothing on me, and I only have one cell. Comparing chu chu to a chimp would be an insult to all primates.

Well if it is true FA will only be in the same boat he when he was with McLaren. It would be unlikely KR would tolerate being upstaged Double World Champion or not especially should Kimi keep his title this year.

I would have to agree with Ameba. Chu chu's brain power would not allow him to survive on his own if it weren't for his parents.

Ghost2912,
Were you watching the last race? FA was driving on the edge out of most corners. On the very last lap, the back end came out. By-the-way, interpretations differ on what is illegal and legal, as they rewrote the rules twice on the floors last year, so it's a stretch to say they were illegal. Ruling out the mass dampers on the Renault's as a moving aero device was a stretch.

To all Hamilton fans, his book 'Lewis Hamilton: My Story' is available for a pound at the Home Bargains stores. They're desperate to offload its stockpile of 50,000 copies.

eric, you are right about the flexible floors. they were not illegal and a number of teams were using them, clarification was sought and they were then banned.
Ghost, when did ferrari have illegal traction control?? i dont remember them being stripped of any points or pealised so it cant have been illegal.

re the hamilton books, why dont they advertise these on crash.net. there are a lot of lulu fanatics on this site

Stop throwing insults at lulu. Popularity is such a fad; today his books go for a quid, tomorrow when he wins the NASCAR championship, in America, it will be a different story. Look at me, I might not be the hottest name in F1 now but two years ago I was the topnotch driver.

Eric, I'm posting this in two parts.

PART1:
Yes, I watched the last race. In fact since I live in San Francisco, I woke up at 3:30 in friggin morning to watch it. :-)
I don't see what your comment abt FA driving on the edge has to do with my post, but the point I am trying to make is this:

ALL teams bend or break the rules, the unfortunate ones get caught - like Honda with the illegal fuel tank, and Toyota when they were convicted of espionage in 2003. Even Ferrari's most ardent fans cannot claim that Ferrari have neither bent or broken the rules (remember the oversized bargeboards in 99?) Or how about the flexi ones in '02? In both cases, they were let off by the FIA.

PART2:

But don't take my word for it. Google will give you enough articles about the numerous times Ferrari have ventured outside the rules.

But, the point I am trying to make is that they ALL DO IT.

I was getting sick of Chu Chu's soapboxing about how Mclaren are a bunch of cheats, especially considering Renault (home to Chu's boyfriend, FA) have never, ever been on the side of the angels. Not with Schumacher, and not with FA either.

RICH ARD: I can't believe you'd be naive enough to say "i dont remember them being stripped of any points or penalised so it cant have been illegal."

I bet you still believe in Santa and the Tooth Fairy, too.

ghost, you miss the point. first of all you talk about "bending the rules". this is done by ALL teams but is deemed to be acceptable if you get away with it. then there is "illegality", where items that are banned, are installed. my query was, when did ferrari use BANNED traction control? if it was specifically banned, they would have been penalised. the fact that there were no penalties show that they may have been BENDING of rules, but this does not make it illegal.
looking forward to christmas and santa.
