Geno According to the paper, Mosley paid cash. No credit card here.

igor Everyone talks about "damaging the sport" but what damage, where? No sponsor has announced withdrawal and there's no evidence that the shrinking TV audience is due to anything except the racing.

fedup Oh come on. If everyone who did sex outside marriage in F1 had to leave, the paddock would be almost empty. And anyone who would be happy to have their sex life on the net must be a real bore in the bedroom. You are not morally superior just because you don't share his tastes.

The sort of people who used to persecute gays have a new target. But if it's consensual adults in private they should be left in peace.

PADDOCKMAN - damage is done to the integrity of sport. Maybe sponsors didn't announce withdrawal so far but, i can see many f1 fans that are VERY dissapointed with the situation. So lets hope we see another breathtaking season so focus will be on action and "politics" will drop in second plan, but if this season will be boring, combination of bad season and dirty "behind the scenes" games could prove very damaging.
All the sad events didn't help the sport - for shure.

The only people happy with the verdict are some perverts from Ferrari & Renault. Without Max, Ferrari & Renault will be history.

this is only a mirror image of the society we are in... its not even embarrasing anymore - its just the sad truth. Thats how this world is run now...

its all about who´s got the most money and the most power (which goes together anyway)

the world is changing.... and

MM was never going to loose this vote, just as irak would have happend anyways, just as the twin tower attacks were planned by american power people, just as much as ENRON, Worldcom, the Texaco scandal, Pearl harbour, the gulf of tonkin.... sorry about bringingpolitics to our forum...

get"LOOSE MONEY" from emule, watch "ZEITGEIST".. why is the world full of hungry children and obese middleclass? good bye friends

What a disgrace Pervert Max is and the result is an even bigger disgrace.
Pervert Scum Mosely can fund the immoral earnings of the vice barrons and people traffickers yet wants motor sport to be safe and convey a wholesome immage to the public.
Max and those who voted for him are deluded and should all resign.

While I do think whatever happens in someones private life should stay in their private life,MM has no credibility left in my opinion. To me this is just the final straw in a long line of problems about the FIA.Alot of people were angry at the way mclaren were treated and I was one of them.I think the FIA is completely corrupt and this vote shows it.MM should only be removed from his post if it will affect his job..well it obviously does!He has been told to stay away from every race that has happened since the scandal broke! If he can't represent the sport to other countries there is no point in him heading up the FIA.He has no integrity left and should resign before he is shoved!

Although I will admit to be one of the most vocal members on here in calling for his head, I am disappointed in the outcome of the vote, but I am will trust to the opinions of the FIA body. However I do believe that this vote of confidence only buys Mosley time but not much because I believe with the forthcoming case against the News of the World severe potentially fatal damage because I have an inkling that the News of the World and News International are potentially holding something back something more damaging which will not swing the case in their favour but also fatally damage Mosley's reputation beyond repair and will result in another election.

This is whats wrong with the world. He obviously has to much power. If one of his underlings had committed this sort of behaviour, they would have been fired. I for 1 will not watch another F1 race again or anything todo with the FIA. This sleeze ball should have retired or the others should have forced him out, total disgrace. The drivers and teams should boycott this if they have any morals about them, money or no.
