Completely irresponsible driving from Hamilton. Not one, but TWO cars were stopped in front of him, and still he drove into the back of KR.
He DESERVES a penalty for this.

backbeat,
As I recall didn't LH have a clear view of the back's of RK and KR's parked car's? And wasn't Rosberg unsighted by Hamilton's car? The rest I'd agree with.

This is all kind of academic because Nico Rosberg would have taken them out anyway. Two very silly mistakes by, what are arguably suposed to be two of the best drivers in the world. Its a shame, would of been good to see LH, KR and RK all fighting for the win. But as it happens....well...it didn't.

The penalties for LH and NR were deserved and the correct choice. Although it would of been nice to see an apology to KR at least McLaren haven't contested the stewards decision of the penalty.

Well done to BMW and DC for keeping their noses out of trouble and bringing home the results. Others should learn from threir example.

literally stood closer to the middle of a major junction than was normal or safe, and waited for peple to recognise him...he's the star, the lad's just the driver!

Wait and see these pair implode. Think Max Mosley, but much worse. 'Dad' appears to enjoy the finer things in life, and based on everything that I've seen this year alone, it will be so easy for someone to catch him on camera, sooner rather than later.

What a week for racing's most arrogant duo....

I write from Montreal, where we've seen another display of total arrogance from the Hamilton family over the last week. dad wrecks someone's car (wrong brand too!) because he's driving like a ****...no sense of remorse for that, but hopefully he'll get done for dangerous driving.

Lewis = gangsta boy...

'These people' (yes, I'm conscious of what that means) are trying to turn F1 gansta. It's embarrassing really, and as a white person, I'm aware of how PC white people have to be. Meanwhile, the *****-duo have turned the pit-lane into Compton.

I saw Lewis' Dad 'in action' several times this year, not least last night, when he (and a McLaren sponsor that was clearly all star-struck)

Wake up sleepy ... one happened on the race track during competition (& like u noticed on cold tyres when cars were bunched up after safety car period), the other in the pit lane behind a red light under pace car conditions.
All the rules in pit lane are to protect the crews & officials who dont have the benefit of being in a crash tested ****pit ... so when two cowboys dont obey the rules & put the crews & fellow competitors at risk, then they deserve a penalty.

Sleepy you still have not adressed the fact that this is the second time he has done this this year. Like I said if it happens to Kimi again he may well get a penalty.

Mark. Chill out a bit.
The point I was making was that both incidents were mistakes by supposedly professional sportsmen. Proving once and for all they really are human after all. My point is that a 10 place penalty is pathetic when nothing happens to Raikonen. DOnt say it was just a racing incident, he was on cold tyres after the restart and completely misjudged his braking point. Exactly the same as being on fresh tyres, full fuel load and trying to not let the pits be the only place anyone overtakes in F1 and then to find someone stopped in front. RACING MISTAKE, INCIDENT, call it what you like. Both deserve the same treatment.

When I first heard that this incident had occured I did not believe it happened it was a very sloppy mistake from Lewis Hamilton and proved very costly and it could even cost him the Championship like the slip off did in China, but it is too early to judge. But he still had the talent and the heart to bounce back from this error and he was man enough to admit to making the mistake. Which is good.

@Sleepy if he had released the pit lane speed limiter he would be in for a penalty because he was still in pit lane when he hit Kimi. Lewis even said it was not a racing incident. Racing incidents (Kimi Monaco) don't get penalized. It is not the first time either. He was lucky not to get a penalty when he ran into Alonso ealier in the year. If Kimi has another incident he may recieve a penalty too. In your opinion how many people does Lewis have to smash into before he gets a penalty?
