Completely irresponsible driving from Hamilton. Not one, but TWO cars were stopped in front of him, and still he drove into the back of KR.
He DESERVES a penalty for this.

#1 There is no way the Mclaren team should be getting any stick over this for not telling him to look out for the red light, safety cars and pit closures have been an issue at the past few races at Canada, everyone including the "intelligent" ITV commentators knew that - remember Montoya getting disqualified?
#2 I reckon a a bit of red mist/desperation set in when LH realised he had dropped from 1st to third in the pits. Too focused on getting up to speed so a bit of temporary blindness to red lights set in.

#3 Of course Hamilton and Rosberg should be penalised - the both did the same thing, that is cause an accident that was completely avoidable. The difference between this and Kimi at Monaco was the safety car was out here. All the drivers are expected to be more cautious under the safety car, that's why it's there. Whether it should have been deployed or not doesn't matter. Hamilton and Rosberg clearly were not cautious enough, punich them both.

Just one more reason why he will NEVER be seen on the same level as Fangio,Clark,Prost or Senna

Starting at the back of the grid at the French GP should be the punishment! Also interesting to see Shamilton turning to avoid Kubica and hitting Kimi instead, obviously hitting Kubica would of meant Kimi easily taking victory and on his way to the title! We can't have that now can we! :?

In Nico's defense he was just following the car in front of him. Hamilton on the other hand had two stopped cars in front. Was he even looking where he was going? Even if the light had been green you can't drive through stopped cars.

From Autosport - "I apologise to Kimi if I cost him the race, but these sort of things happen." Seems they happen to him more than anyne else. Out of seven races this season he has crashed into the back of two world champions.

If this had not happened it would have been a great race from pit lane with Kimi and Kubica.

On a light hearted note he would never had made a good pimp as he don't know what a RED LIGHT is.

Your right, Hamilton did "Jink" to the left before impact and took out Kimi's Ferrari, obviously Hamilton had enough time to think about which car/driver meant the biggest threat to him in the drivers championship.

What a nasty man, reminds me of that other devious cheat, Shumacher.

I hope that they penalise him for the next three races.

maybe this is a result of not attending the GPDA meetings?? totally agree with most of the normal peoples comments, how the **** can you not see TWO cars in front of you STOPPED?!?! its not down to the team to tell him, as a F1 superlicence holder he should understand a red light means stop?
