Another joke 'race'. Turned the TV off and went to feed the birds with my daughter!

I've been watching F1 for twenty years. Compare the 'race' we see today with no-overtaking Vs the battles we saw with Mansell, Senna, Schumacher, Prost and even Damon Hill.

F1 is like a large corporate sponsorship event.

Sure Ferrari won the race, no arguments there. But the idiot FIA ruin the race by giving penalties so severe, there is no competition - and no RACE.

It's a time trial - nothing more. Boring viewing, no excitement.

Remember when Alonso was penalised so badly a while ago, he publically said F1 is a joke and run by idiots? What's changed.

F1 » Ferrari give Hamilton ol' 1-2 in French GP

Lewis Hamilton discovers the true price of his costly Canadian Grand Prix error two weeks ago, as he trails home a scrappy and frustrated tenth in the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours, with the weather raining - and Ferrari's Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen reigning - on the Briton's downtrodden parade.

well done felipe, and also kimi. the exhaust problem on kimi''s car probably affected the finishing order. however, it was noticable that bodywork of massa''s ferrari was also badly burnt around the exhausts on both sides, and also on kimi''s "good" side. there appears to be cooling issue in this region. this has not been noticable in other races, where cars have finished in pristine condition.

Yes Finaly Formula 1 has fruastrated Hamilton. Now you haters are happy. I think next time they will give him a drice through penalty for the colour of his helmet. It is a shame. But he drove very well. he did some nice passes. Oh what a shame.

real one. "drove very well"??. i dont think so. he banged into kovi, banged into alonso, overdrove (continually locking fronts). passing vettel, he went into corner too fast and could not get around, and was penalised for this. other than that, he emulated alonso from last year (as promised) and started 13 and finished 10. he is breaking down under the pressure as many have predicted. he needs to cool it before silverstone as there will be added pressure on him from his adoring fans.

Richard, Even YOU must admit that if hamilton's car had been red he wouldn't have been penalised for that move. Switched the box off after that.... no point watching F1 anymore when it is so blatantly biased.

Im sorry but F1 is an absolute joke. With the ban on TC making the races a 'little' more interesting, I was just starting to get back into watching it again after being seduced by motorbike in the late 90's.
But for hamilton to only make up 3 places with one of the best cars on the grid is humiliating!!! How can it be fun to watch when there is (at best) 1 or 2 overtakes a race???
Danny prdrosa was fighting for 2nd in the british moto gp from 9th on the grid and lorenzo Got 6th from starting 17th!! And all this from a series that is widely thought of as being spoilt with the advent of traction control.

I realy hope for F1's sake that next years aero changes help. :?

Those were the days.....wheel to wheel, Overtaking, few of the penalties, sure we had a lot of prangs but these days it's just too safe, too boring and too biased. not worth switching the telly on for.
