Hamilton is doing himself no favours. He suggests that he is being penalised unfairly, but his move on Vettel was wrong.

Hamilton claimed that he was passed Vettel, but couldn't turn into the chicane otherwise he would have hit Vettel. Either he was passed him or he wasn't – which one is it? I'm a Brit and want Hamilton to do well, but he is turning out to be a “rule bender” just like Schumacher. Rules apply to everyone else but him…

He claimed that he moved to Switzerland due to media intrusion, but then later admits that it was for tax reasons. I think that it classed as distorting the truth – why lie about it? Coulthard, Mansell, Button etc all said that they left the UK for tax reasons, why couldn't Hamilton just say the same instead of trying to blame someone else for it?

When he crashed into the back of Raikkonen in Canada, it wasn't his fault – his team failed to tell him that the light was red! Again, its everyone elses fault and not his own.

Forget about Lewis or any driver for that matter & their problems. Max & the FIA are going to have a falling out with Bernie & CVC this week. There''s going to be a lot of fireworks unless they come to a compromise about the Concorde Agreement. Expect Max to be high-handed about the agreement.

Oh yeah have you heard? Max wants each team to cough out at least another $700,000 for services rendered each year. Whipping & related services are not included.

It's interesting to notice that the more Lewis Hamilton gets involved in media pontificating and spotlight the more his luck on the track runs out. What happened to the idea of racing drivers?

powerline i totally agree with what you are saying i can see a F1 super league being formed after all for the amount of money the teams are going to be paying they might as well form their own governing body and they could get a load of money from the tv rights for that as well plus it would solve the drivers problems about the amount of money max wants for a super licence. (which i feel is a total rip off):)

there is a very interesting article on planetF1.com regarding this issue:

Although the Magny-Cours stewards have insisted that their decision to hand Lewis Hamilton a race-wrecking drive-through penalty during the French GP was the result of a "clear" infringement, conspiracy theorists are bound to have noticed that Max Mosley's close associate, Alan Donnelly, was part of the decision-making process.
According to ITV, who supply coverage of F1 in Britain, the only footage of the Hamilton incident provided by the FOM TV host broadcast was an on-board shot from the Englishman's McLaren that apparently showed Hamilton past Vettel before he approached the Nurburgring chicane.

Totally agree with Donnie, Shamilton is not the most honest or humble player in the game and he makes me feel sick.

Methinks its the £millions and incredible talent that Lewis possesses that makes you sick the most. But not to worry - if you do grow up you'll realise it's the easy women you should most envy.

HTH
