Ayrton Senna's death in 1994 killed F1 a little for me. It was never the same after that awful weekend. But the thought of seeing Bruno Senna getting into F1 in the near future is a fantastic one, and I hope other fans of Ayrton would agree.

Seeing how he drives in GP2, the Senna talent is very much in evidence in Bruno and I for one would love to see him in F1 very soon. I'm sure people will throw the old 'he's only in F1 because of his name' argument, but hopefully his talent will silence such comments.

F1 needs more young stars like Bruno Senna, rather than corporate machines with a sense of grandieur.

It doesn't surprise me that children from other race drivers make it to the top. It makes perfect sense as they have the resourses and knowledge to develop good drivers who ever they may be. Do you think its just luck that the Manning boys are quarterbacks?

people like chu chu thinks alonso is the most amazing driver in history. ok, i addmint he's the most complete driver at the moment in F1, but how many titles does the spaniard has? how long is spain's history in F1? england, brazil, german has a lot more background than alonso, who could be the last star from spain to shine in a long time. so boy, stay quiet. spain is a newborn in this business, get more 20 years of history then come back here discuss something, cause it seems you know nothing about f1.
and more, this is a problem of all spaniards. now they are on the final of eurocup against germany, and already thinking they are the world's number 1... tsc, tsc...

if william's mistake didnt take the life of our beloved senna, schummy (an indeed awesome driver) history could be very different. also, senna was a brazilian, beloved all around the world, cause he had a thing alonso doesnt have: charisma. he will be forever remembered as the supreme ace of F1 (ecclestone, mosley, hamilton and a lot of people think this, people long time in the bussiness), whereas alonso will be remembered forever as the asshole who beat schummy, and now is like a bitch riding for the team who **** his ass better.

Inibex, your comment: "is a problem of all spaniards. now they are on the final of eurocup against germany, and already thinking they are the world's number 1" and "whereas alonso will be remembered forever as the asshole who beat schummy, and now is like a bitch riding for the team who **** his ass better."
proves 2 things.
1) You are a RACIST!!! How do you DARE say that about the Spaniards ????
2) You are writting on the wrong website...here we talk about F1, not FOOTBALL!!!

And if you wish to insult me, go ahead, do it, I could not care less!!!! But please remember I come from Sweden...So go ahead and start insulting Sweden....:-o

didnt mean to offend you, i'm really sorry, but that boy chu chu is such a pain in the ass...

when i said "spanish", read "spanish press". they're really sick. look at those exemples, all published in their local press:

spain x germany (spain is the best, even if they don't have a single world cup). alonso x shummy (alonso is the best, even if shummy has 3x more titles)
lorenzo x rossi (lorenzo is the best, even if his teammate is the legendary italian).

take your time to read marca.comsee how crazy people are there in their forums. young boys believe in everything they read.. and those ******s get on to this nice forum.

offend sweeden?!? nice place, kindy people, nice music! no way.

as Damon Hill said " the name can get a foot in the door but it won't help you stay there, ultimately you are compared and thats when you stand OR fall on your own results" Go Bruno

Ayrton Senna, while leaving Mclaren, remarked - ""If you think I'm good, just wait until you see my nephew Bruno"" ( Source : Wikipedia )

If that's not strong enough a recommendation (coming from one of F1's greats), then nothing will be.

However, his talent alone could not have made him "news" item...The family name he shares with his successful uncle has added more weightage over other contenders.

He seems to share some of the gr8 skills of his uncle. However,a strange co-incidence is that both his uncle and father were killed in race accidents. Hope he doesnt share this factor !!!
