Vettel and Alonso in Ferrari in 2010... anyone?
Depending on Kimi hanging his helmet, I could bet that one of the 2 will be in Ferrari already in 2009.

Unreg..Adrian yes that's still stupid. This is typical mid season rumours and the mill starts grinding as soon as drivers start confirming their contracts or anounce retirement as per Webber & Coulthard this week. So relax it's stupid and ridiculous reporting by a bored desperate journolist.

Not stupid at all...
I think that it has a pretty good chance of happening ... since Rosberg is also German and Heidfeild is kinda... uhm... underperforming lately?
Yes rumors but definitely a good one in my opinion... and yes... they are just opinions.

lol.....If theres a newspaper you never take seriously it's Auto Bild Motorsport.

Sebastian Vettel, $60 million, Ferrari.... absolutely hilarious. And fernando has next to no chance as well, ferrari have said repeatedly they dont need/want him, in the forseeable future at least. All kimi has ever said is that he's not hanging around till he's old and grey, and all the sudden people say he's leaving by 2009. It's almost an insult to his competetive spirit.

Keep dreaming guys, Vettel will be at Red Bull, and Alonso will still be at Renault. He may have a slight chance at BMW if Heidfeld keeps driving like a nanna, but hard to say what BMW are thinking.

Oh and Frank Williams is hanging onto Rosberg. He said recently he wouldnt let him go for any money. Rosberg is a very good technician, and frank knows how crucial that is in building a team up. He scored the highest of any williams driver ever on franks technical exam (all his new drivers do it), and was actually going to study aerodynamics but declined to go racing full time.

That's a big part of why other teams are so keen on him.

The 23-year-old former GP2 Series Champion, though, is under contract to his current team Williams in 2009, with team boss Sir Frank Williams making it clear that he would not let go of the Grove-based outfit''s prize asset for even '50 million dollars''.
would that be a veiled comment to prospective teams that $50 million is the starting price ?!!

the fact that massa has a ferrari contract till 2010 and kimi till the end of next year means alonso will be highly unlikely to go there, and i doubt ferrari would want him i think the idea of vettel at some point replacing kimi might be likely, if alonso is going anywhere next season i think its most likely to be honda, i cant see another place for him

Why on earth would you replace Heidfeld with Rosberg? Makes no sense at all.

I really think nico belongs to a team who can give him a car that will show his potentials and I don''t think williams is doing that right now. He has disappointing after disappointing results. he should be out there battling lewis or kimi, but instead he is in the mediocre part of the ranking. I just think he deserves more.
