Love him or hate him... that was a great drive!

I think he has amazing talent but cant decide if he is off playing too hard away from his racing or if he is putting too much pressure on himself, either way we don't always see the best of him! if he can produce consistently what he is capable of then he will be champion this year.

Looks like McLaren have caught Ferrari up though. Championship is looking good!

we need rain every race or a serious reduction in aero packages! look how much better the racing is! despite being very wet the fans go their moneys worth today with regard to action on track.

Heidfeld could have easily won that race if BMW Sauber had shown some guts and put extreme wet tires on his car at the 2nd stop. When I saw him come in after Hamilton got intermediates I was hoping come on wet tires wet tires! But unfortunately they were either not smart enough or chickens. At that point he was about 30s behind and a long way before his teammate Kubica, so they had nothing to loose and it was raining hard. When Rubens got out he was 10s a lap faster than anyone on track, and Nakajima finished the race on wet tires at a good pace. Heidfeld would have won by a mile.
Btw I'm Dutch...Nothing against Hamilton, nothing in favour, I just rather see Ferrari or BMW win

richard

you really are a bit tragic - bitterness and dislike ouzes on so many of your posts.

You could start the rehabilitation today. Let's see, we could work on your irrationality about LH, and inability to even write his name. Let's see if you can type the words "Lewis Hamilton". Go on, it would be a good first step.

JJ... fair point... but you could say exactly the same about Hamilton. He could have lapped the whole field if he was given extreme wets at the same time you suggest Heidfeld should have had them. Towards the end intermediates were easily equal to the extreme wets.

Not at you personally JJ but how many people would have bitched and moaned that they shouldn't have put full wets on if they did and threw the race away by chewing them up?! now we know the outcome its easy to say what they should have done but at the time they made a decision.
