WoW What A Wonderful News :rolleyes: . McLaren is heading towards happy days of Hakkinen and Coulthard working in tandem to acheive teams goals. 13 yrs down the line I see Heikki making lots of "Honest Confessions" in his retirement announcing press release. The Only question is will beat DC''s record of longest "Serving" McLaren Driver :rolleyes:

Heikki Kovalainen will remain alongside Lewis Hamilton at McLaren-Mercedes in 2009, it is confirmed, as the Woking-based concern reveals it has taken up its option on the Finn's contract for next year.

By the way, somebody knows when will the FIA ban traction control in the McClarens?

Yogi bear if it was traction control then it would not be allowed in the first place. All they have done is changed from having a knob on the steering wheel for adjusting setting to having it on a paddle shift. Easy idea really, can you imagine the drivers changing gear by a knob on the steering wheel. So now the drivers can change to a different setting so quick on a paddle shift that they can use it at the same time as changing gear. Please know the facts about the system before engaging your 1 typing finger.
