How do they think that having Alonzo will make them a winning team ?if they produced a car capable of winning they could do it with the drivers they have now.

F1 » Honda want Alonso, only 'complete' F1 star

Double world champion Fernando Alonso is the only 'totally complete' driver in F1, Ross Brawn insists, whilst acknowledging that Honda would 'love to have' the disenchanted Renault ace.

Button is probably a far better driver than Alonso. Alonso would only beat JB if there were team orders and JB had to take second driver tearms. Not a recipe for a happy team!
Building a good car first would be the way to go!

F1init- i like jense and think he is a very smooth driver which is great to watch IMO, but fernando is a better package, he just is. people talk about loyalty but they both have similar records. as infact most of the f1 grid at some point in their career. so that isnt a issue really.

it makes sense for honda, and ross is the best man to judge having spent so long with michael. But they need to spend time to make it work and do it right. and if thats the case Fernando might well think he is better doing that where he is. BUT honda do have the resources.

i dont know it would a tough one really. Ross or pat? both great champions themselves

well i have read all youre comments and i tend to think about all the press comments that alonso has said about mclaren and the other drivers i.e. lewis, heiki, nelson etc etc and one things comes out "FOR SURE" he talks a load of rubbish. there was a post interview with Ron Dennis and he was asked about the situation last year with alonso and he said "the truth has not yet come out about that situation yet" and i just think that mclaren is being really diplomatic about things still.

Alonso i really a sly low life who trys to blackmail people to get his own way or his wife does as she seems to wear the trousers in their relationship and he admitted that in the intrerview he had with heiki

sly low life?

his wife? u are interested in his relationship with his wife? not offence barry u need get out more, i thought u had a bit more class than that.

anyway when alonso was asked about hungry he actually said he didnt want to talk about that anymore, yeah mentioned other stuff about mclaren, but about 12months his reaction was the same as rons, who history for that sort of thing isnt that great. but its in the past and they all need move on, esp fernando and the press.

but having digs at his relationship is pretty low dont u think? some of your comments are fine but thats just childish. im fan and didnt know he had a wife. cos i dont give a monkeys except for his racing.

....anyway barry this about honda talking about wanting him(which seems hard for u to understand, but clearly ross knows a little about F1), not him talking about them or mclaren or heki or lewis or his wife or the meaning of life.

so keep it to the article and not about personal hatred.
