Only $15M?!? And he would replace Rubens (when Jenson should be the one to get the boot)?! I call BS on this story.

If true, Alonso has gambled and lost. He really wanted Ferrari. OTOH I hope it is a return to the Alonso of old, exploiting the weaknesses of his opponents cars and using the strengths of his to take the fight to the front. Instead of fighting his solo battle in the print. Personally I think the humble pie is worth the entertainment. $15 M is about right considering where he sits this year and his future prospects. Alonso needs a team as much as Honda needs him. He's not in the drivers seat on this one.

Unless he has secure Ferrari contract in his back pocket and want to make some extra monies, I don't think moving to the British team would be a sane move.
This reminds me of how JV made mistake in moving to this outfit(then called BAR), and it consistently provided him unreliable cars.

This story is utter BS.
Why would he move to under performing Honda when Renault is slowly rising from the ashes. Its all ********, Nano will stay with Renault next year and be in a red car in '10. No doubt about it, its the worst kept secret in F1
