Agreed - its not absolute development that matters, but relative development: and its not as though eveyone else is spending the whole three weeks on the beach.

I'd say give up on the 08 car and focus on the rule changes for next year. Interlagos, Fuji and Shanghai offer the chance for rain, and with two great in-the-wet drivers Honda could grub up a few more points to keep the revenue stream, but nothing they do now is really going to move the needle for the 08 competition.

bit of self-help for Honda would be to bump Jensen Button and put in a driver who's hungry if you ask me....
