It would be really nice to see bmw mixing it again with ferrari and mclaren it makes the sport much more enjoyable to watch and more of a lottery than watching the lead two teams slog it out.

Interesting the article on the SC strategies (www.autosport.com)force india is trying to build into their strategy for valencia. and like the article says, the race i think will be won and lost on saftey car issues. :)

Depends what colour the lead car is...... If it's red there's not much chance of a safety car appearing and if it does it won't be out long.

shirley, dont be so paranoid. the rules apply to all and despite what you would like to think, charlie whiting shows no favouritism. you are impuning his character if you are implying otherwise, and your comments do a disfavour to the sport.

was reading at paddocktalk dot com, about Ferrari using "sort of TC mechanism" and McLaren engine plants generating "extra 25 HP". Crash will publish those in couple of days difference I guess. These queries have been raised by paddock insiders...

After all the talk of "non favoritism" being practiced and all the so called "Parc ferme" scruitinee I wonder how two teams are getting away with these violations. While certain Renault was hounded at crucial point of 2006 campaign for Mass Damper, a part that was being approved as valid for 2 seasons.
Then there are local Stewards whose inconsistence, impacts the outcome of penalties.
So its not really a level playing field :? :? :?

And then does anyone here remember the Michelin Tyres Saga in 2003 season. When Michelin shod teams were having good season, out of blue the tyres that were deemed ok since return of Michelin to F1, were suddenly found illegal and Michelin was forced to change the Tyre specs at crucial juncture in the campaign.

The regulations in F1 and the inconsistencies in interpretation and enforcement reminds me of the Games played by "Calvin & Hobbes", where rules are invented on the fly.

Shirley - If what you are saying is true how come Hamilton is always the one to benefit from the safety car being deployed? It is funny how when Mclaren do well it is because they are the fastest and when Ferrari do well there must be a conspiracy.

If F1 was serious about supporting team and team mate fair play they would give the drivers two pits. F1 is all about favortism. Yhe rules and how they apply them are the same.

Wasn´t this an article about BMW?

It is boring that the talking always end up in a Ferrari v/s McLaren debate!
(I´m actually a Ferrari fan)

The problem is that other teams are kind of boring...

Morgan I don't recall seeing any comments from you about DC's dangling bodywork in the last race. Or does that not count as he was not in a Ferrari?
