Lauda took the result of the last races, and decided that it was the true situation...
If Toyota happen to be in front of the BMW consistently trough the next few GP, then someone could say that they are getting ahead, but saing so at this moment is a little bit early.

How many races has Toyota won this year? Oh wait, none. Sure they''re doing better. But their drivers are 7th and 10th in the championship. BMW''s are in 4th and 5th place. Toyota has 35 constructor''s points. BMW has 90 points. Good to see Toyota doing better though.
