F1's new KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems) technology continues to be troubled, but BMW-Sauber insists the electric shock suffered by a mechanic during testing of the energy-saving device last month did not put anyone in any danger.

Interesting,!!

We already have a few pit lane fires caused by fuel hitting a hot engine.
and yes I know that the cars are well insulated but I''d be interested to see if anyone has considered the danger of a high voltage ''short circuit'' when refuelling
