I totally agree with Jackie, if that had been Hamilton that made that move out of the pits, he would have been given a stop go penalty, a 10 place grid drop or 25 seconds off his time!
We see it all the time how bias the FIA are and they have openly admitted that they will favour Ferrari.
The FIA Ferrari team are scum and F1 would be so much better without the pervert and his Ferrari bias friends

F1 » Stewart: F1 treats Ferrari with kid gloves

Former multiple F1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart has criticised the penalty received by Ferrari's Felipe Massa in the wake of last weekend's European Grand Prix in Valencia, claiming it is yet another example of the Scuderia being 'treated with kid gloves' by the FIA.

I love the defensive comment by the stewards ''Remember that Massa did not gain any sporting advantage'' So a highy dangerous maneuver in the pit lane is fine, so long as you don't gain an advantage? Pathetic!! I agree there have been similar incidents in the pit lane this year, these should have been penalised too. How long before a mechanic is seriously injured?

Its the same every year, we are fast approaching the end of the season and if they had penalised Massa then Hamilton would have a big advantage going into the last few races. These decisions are made with the rule book in one hand and a guide on how to keep the championship alive and interesting in the other. If this had happened earlier in the season then I believe we would have seen a drive through penalty or another form of punishment.

Massa may not have gained a sporting advantage in the pitlane ,but he definitely gained one when the stewards decided to disregard the rule book.
Richy Rich I agree with you entirely ,but with the Kimi incident there WAS a mechanic injured and there was NO penalty there either so I don't see how anyone can disagree with Jackie's comments quite frankly :?

Massa did nothing wrong, it was Kimi...If Ferrari should be penilized for what happened to Massa, it should be the team for letting him out to soon, not the driver...and...he did NOT get any advantage...
You Mclaren fans are worse than the Ferrari ones by far...what a bunch of whiners...

Our point is if that had been a Mclaren he would have been given a penalty, and everyone knows that!!
Ferrari fans just dont like to admit the fact that they have the FIA gifting them everything.

I think that most of those who post comments on supposed bias toward Ferrari, myself included, are not doing so because of any thoughts of McLaren, or any other team, but that there should be consistency, and fairness in the decisions across the board. The track record of decisions over the seasons is the root cause for such concern.
