Well Barry... maybe if you McLaren fans stopped turning your heads to your competitors and looked forward you would get somewhere...
I am not an anti McLaren or LH fan ... but I sure am so tired of these "oh, poor Mclaren x the evil Ferrari b$ talk..."

very interesting comment about ferrari using up their two jokers on the engines already if the boys pop one in qualifying then thats an automatic 10 place drop on the grid (if the fia obey their own rules :)). looking at all the bits on the cars im suprised anyone can find anywhere to add more stuff on i wonder if mclaren are going to use the shark fin on the cars or not maybe that is what aided massa in valencia it is supposed to work on tracks with side winds.

The thing that Merc has to work on is improving the flow of the air on lulu's helmet.

Barry, I can see why you feel the way you do and I'm sure many people feel exactly the same. Ferrari do seem to have this apparently invisible defense sheild around themselves which seems totally impenatrable by the FIA. Why? Wish I knew mate, but it suits me just fine at the moment because I, like many other true F1 fans, am sick of the crap coming out of the sport at present and am just waiting for it to fall flat on its **** so it can re-group and get back to the real sport with real, human, likeable, honest, talented leaders and drivers of the past. It will happen if someone doesn't sit up and realise very soon that many other formulas are offering far better spectacle and true racing.

If his head is this big now that he hasn't won a championship yet, how big will it be when he does??? It will probably explode! LOL

Barry, today I was witness to what was one of the best races I have seen in a very long time. The Porche Carrera Cup at Silverstone was (a wet race admittedly) totally edge of the seat viewing, with Tim Harvey coming from 15th to the win in the last laps. An awsome display of driving by all drivers, un-hindered by driver aids, mind-blowing doownforce, team orders and politics.
These drivers are still in the real world, accessible to their fans, not completely up their own backsides, normal people who you and I can relate to and not feel cheated by their lack of commitment.
Other formula offer much, much more for the fans. Full stop!
