Great. Another great circuit about to be butchered by (no doubt) Herman Tilke. When will the prats who run F1 understand that it''s the cars that need changing, not the bloody tracks!!

Leave Spa as it is! We have enough lame go kart type tracks as it is without butchering the one great track still on the calendar. (Suzuka is fantastic too - That''ll be the next one to be ''tilkered'' - once it''s back on the F1 calendar.

F1 » Classic F1 corners to be lost in Spa revamp?

More F1 history could be set to face the axe as Spa-Francorchamps - traditional home to the Belgian Grand Prix for more than 50 years - prepares to see its length shortened again, and the Nürburgring's future in the top flight hangs in the balance.

I can''t really see this happening, but on the other hand, if I think if Mr E wants then he may well get, as usual. The destruction of F1 history with the addition of Tilke dromes, is getting tedious, and I can see myself losing interest in the sport if things like this continue.

When will the powers that be in the motorracing/cycling world stop messing around with the best circuits in the world. Some of the best circuits in the world have been chopped up the layouts changed or ever dropped from there respective championships, yes some of the features need modernising but most of the competitors would probably say that they offers greater challenges than many modern circuits and its also about the history of driving/riding the same circuits as previous legends have

dhruv - I agree with you in regards to Spa. While I originally hated the change to Hockenheim it has made for better races. The old track had some of the most boring races. I just wish that they did not remove the old section of track...just incase.
