Uh-oh, that looks disgusting, totally destroying the spectators bank over looking the old hairpin, as a bike fan, F1 is going to ruin Donnington Park

ok, im going to get slated here, but this (on closer inspecition on the DP website) actualyl looks quite promising  they kept the good corners and have added a new long downhill sweep into a hairpin, also a nice long run into the melbourne loop. shame it removes the famous banking area as said above but it may turn out to be a very good racetrack, better than some of these standardised tracks we get nowadays...

Looks promising to me too, because after the first half of the track the rest was nothing more than dead-stop esses and hairpins.

Goodbye to the Fogarty esses. Can't say I'll miss having that name mentioned
at future race meetings!

Just what F1 needs: a tight and twisty circuit where the cars will be lucky to get out of second gear. Donington is already pretty much a one line circuit and this will make it worse.

Oh yes, where are the spectators in this new meisterplan?

generally i like the layout: it looks better than current one but I don't really like the alteration ar the coppice corner. it should be maintained the way it is.

Well, reminds me of when Spielberg transformed into the A1 Ring... it still looked the same in a crooked way, but actually it wasn't. Whatever, let's wait and see if we lose another classic venue or if they manage to salvage a bit of the spirit of the old track...
