They only have seats for 65k people, but I did notice they have 2 floors above the pits for the Paddock Club, ahhh bless those rich sponsors guests who don't even care about the sport!

completely agree with barry, this is a planning application issue. I've been working as a civil engineer on several projects all year and from my experience its not going to end up like that. looks alright though, but probably not the same for spectators.

Could be very OKish, but it will never be built in time and will the fans ever get off the F1 in time for the race.
Apart from upgrading the circuit when will all the new roads be planned and built?
When the British GP is on at Silverstone it becomes aboout the busiest airport in Europe with Helicoptor movements. That's never going to happen at Donnington with East Midlands airport next door. Where am I going to park my Jet Ranger? and how long will I be in traffic getting in to the circuit on the current road network?

Good grief you're a bunch of negative people. Silverstone has lost the race - get used to it. Any F1 is better than no F1 race, surely?

The new Donnington circuit looks cracking, both for MotoGP and F1.

As for getting of the M1 in time for the race? 85,000 MotoGP fans managed to do that this year. And let's face it, Silverstone has only recently got a road network to service it properly. How many years prior to the A43 being dualled did Silverstone operate with the worst road system around ?
