FIA Statement: Formula 1 2009
"Overtaking to be banned next season because its too dangerous"

BLOODY DISGUSTING! terrible decision by the stewards, what advantage did he gain for goodness sake? i hope mclaren appeal and win for the sake of F1! i just knew that this would happen, it deters the drivers from trying. you never would have had senna penalised for such things.

has completely ruined one of the most entertaining races of the year.

just when you thought that f1 was exciting again and there was actually some overtaking and stuff going on, the stewards decide the finishing order after the race.i saw lewis let kimi back past him after the incident then pass him again,f1 is becoming a joke, the sport i've loved for over 40 yrs...now its crap....

I''m no Hamilton fan but this is ridiculous. He gets a 25 second penalty for racing ? If Kimi had finished there might have been more of an argument but some random [25 secs ? ] time penalty to drop him behind cars that were never really in contention ?

We think this is a sport ?! It''s plain embarrassing.

Did anybody notice the speed advantage Kimi gained when he went across the run off areas?

Is that not part of the track?

This is bullllshittt, this was the one the best races this year and Lewis deserved this win, I am so pissed that I really may be forced to give up on F1. And Ferrari are spineless losers to even lodge a complaint and accept the decision. Where is the sportsmanship in this league of racing? I'm done with F1, the ratings will never a tally from me ever again.

THE FIA HAVE STOLEN THE VICTORY FROM LEWIS HAMILTON. HE WAS ACCUSED OF HAVING GAINED AN ADVANTAGE AFTER BEING FORCED OFF THE TRACK BY KIMI. THE FIA IS A COMPLETE JOKE AND HAVE BEEN BIASED TOWARDS FERRARI FOR YEARS. THIS TIME AROUND THEY HAVE SABOTAGED THE RACING AND CREATED A FARSE. THEY CONSTRUCTED THE TITLES FOR FERRARI LAST YEAR AND NOW THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY TO DOING IT AGAIN. THIS IS THE WORST DECISION I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MOTORSPORT. I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING QUITTING MY SUPPORT... THIS IS A JOKE.

anyone surprised?
a legal move by a McLaren. allowed Kimi to re-pass him to ensure it WAS legal, but because it was a Ferrari behind a 25 second penalty... ha!!!! getting a bit pissed off with these decisions now

Its pathetic the FIA are nothing, that might as well make massa F1 chum (sorry champ) now, cos they not allowed to race anymore. Might as well save that the money and fuel.

I am just sick of this constant one sided abuse. How on earth do they expect to encourage overtaking with decisions like this. :?

Here we go again. The FIA stewards again soft on ferrari/massa in the last race and then harsh on mclaren/hamilton. Could the FIA bias towards ferrari be more obvious.
The FIA are cheating the fans and everyone saw hamilton win that race. I am far from being a mclaren fan, but I am sick of the FIA enforcing their own rules when they feel like it.
