F1 » Did Hamilton call F1 'boring'? Listen here

He may have since denied claiming the sport is 'boring', but F1 World Championship leader Lewis Hamilton admitted ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps that the racing can become 'a bit dull'. Listen to his thoughts by reading on...

Taking bets on who will spin the most times in the rain
makes it more exciting, but in dry races he''s right, dead boring.

HAHAHA! its so funny to actually hear my own thoughts come out of a pro F1 driver's mouth! Always i told all the auto-sport fans that i didnt like F1 because the races last too long, most of the overtaking is done in the pits and the entire scene looks too formal to me.

Even tho they are spoiling MotoGP with all the aids and stuff, it still remains much better to watch than F1!

He only said what most of us think. I do see MotoGP going down a similar path at the moment and that is not a good thing. Fortunately we have WSBK to make things really interesting!

yup and even when they do race in F1 neither of them managed to keep it on the island. not like say damon and michael or remember senna holding off schumi in 92 at spa on dry tyres.

rossi, watching WSBK practice on saturday, it was amazing to see KIYO opposite locking his bike on a wet circuit, and also setting it up sideways, well before a corner. as i said, AMAZING. in F1, even dry tyres should be capable of providing some grip in the wet. perhaps bridgestone should be asked to make a more suitable dry tyre, in the interests of safety.

Yet again good old Lewishas put his big foot in it, just like he said he's never going to be passed on the outside again, then Raikkonen does just that two laps later, what a wa_ker.

Anyway well done Crash for catching our intrepid or should that be tepid hero out by calling his and McLaren's bluff, so Lewis thought he was going to deny that he'd said something but you guys had him taped, what an idiot he is, get a blooy manager who knows how the media work, not his lame Dad.

Hit the nail on the head - will be especially true after yesterday's ludicrous decision unless somebody at the FIA has the balls to turn it around.
I've watched F1 for 40 years and have always been a Ferrari supporter - until now.
For those Hamilton haters, see Niki Lauda's opinion. If you don't respect that then you haven't got a clue about F1.

F1 has been pretty tedious for a long time now. Great to hear a current driver say it.
