So if race control twice told McLaren that everything was okay, and, if reports are true, no team officially protested, why did the Stewards change their mind after the race?!

McLaren needs to learn how not to go against the grain, I will teach them a lesson again like I did last year. lulu did not take the bus stop chicane correctly therefore he had an unfair advantage in the short pit straight, and would not have been in the position to pass Kimi before La Source. Does lulu think he is special, and rules do not apply to him? Also, this does it for all that McLaren whining. I need to call dze Germans and talk them into retiring Ron early. The man is a huge baby in his last years

This will either be thrown straight out or we will have to wait 2 months for the hearing.
Either way a total farce

bernie, (i like your non-de-plume) you are one of the few who comment sensibly. congrats. the outcry is caused by what the papers have termed "british mythology" where any person or team that is from britain, can do no wrong and anyone who disagrees is a traitor. it is interesting to see that other drivers are now coming out in support of the stewards. this must mean something. anyway, i understood that there was NO appeal against a drive-through penalty, which this in fact was. i await decision eagerly and hope that all the dissenters will accept the verdict, which ever way it goes.

Why was nothing deemed to be wrong with the incident during the race??, Hakki was under investigation almost immediately after his ridiculous overtaking attempt... because Race direction told McClaren it was OK..a decision is a decision you can't go back in hindsight and change especially if no one has complained..... There is more money in football but can you imagine a goal being disallowed after the final whistle between the two main contenders .. you'd immediately think corruption, don't see why F1 is any different...

Rich ard.. you are as dry as Max's rear end. You as well as the rest know the verdict will not be changed.
