They''re all jealous.

When they''re in a championship with 4 races to go chasing from 15th place - how would THEY drive? With respect and courtesy or go banzai and floor it?

Michael Schumacher drove in a similar way to Hamilton - ruthless, take no prisoners, do or die.

People complained about Schumacher all the time, including me!

It''s not until Schumacher left F1, is it obvious his ruthlessness is part of his brilliance.

Hamilton, with time, should also dominate F1 - if he learns not to throw points away (Canada ''08).

Fernando Alonso and Timo Glock both claimed F1 pace-setter Lewis Hamilton made 'unnecessary movements' while battling at the Italian Grand Prix.

What a load of rubbish! Just because those sad excuses can''t let their driving do the talking...

yawn. im sick n tired of all this girlie b1tching from the other drivers, if someone else was topping the series then the jealous gripes would be aimed elsewhere. if they can''t stand a bit of aggression then they should quit and take up knitting. what''s wrong? have all the driver aids of past and present turned the once rough n tough echelon in to milk van drivers. if there was something significantly wrong with his style of driving then he''d have been booted out, suspended or had his licence revoked so quit moaning

Unbelievable. THIS IS MOTORSPORT NOT GOLF. Surely what we want is agressive drivers who want to win and arent afraid to have a go. ALl of these mindless pillocks who complain, quite clearly have been protected by the F1 circus fot too long and need to maybe have a week kart racing to learn how to race again. :?

I like how Alonso is slating Hamilton for driving people off the road, when, if you remember what Alonso did to Hamilton last year at Spa. As a team mate...

Not to say I wouldn''t have exactly the same reaction as Glock though, of course.

I guess we have to ask ourselves a question here and that is whether or not Formula 1 is a competitive sport or not? It is very easy for drivers to pick out LH's drive as aggressive becasue lets face it, anyone in the position he was needed to be. We have critised the likes of Fisico, Ralf Schumacher and Jenson Button amongst many others over the past two years for providing us with utterly spinless drives on occasion and I actually applaud Lewsi Hamilton for having the determination to give things a go yesterday. As fans of this sport, IMO we want to see drivers duelling with each other wheel to wheel, overtaking for position on track and showing F1 to be the spectacle it should be....

Let's face it,if I had the embarrasment of being passed by a driver like I was stood still when I barely passed anyone all race except for in the pits, I'd complain. Especially if he also passed 7 other drivers as well.
Oh, and he was leading the world championship.
And if people said there's no passing in F1 no more, but he was proving them wrong.
Yeah, I'd bitch too because my driving isn't getting me noticed!

Yes, to summise, the answer to all this griping from the FIA re. Spa, and drivers at Monza, is: YOU'RE RACING!

Well said to all the posters who said that it's great for the return of passing and the danger there should be in F1, it's not a procession any more. The cars are so safe nowadays that even if Glock had driven off the curcuit (Lewis was in front of him, surely it's up to him where he can or can't position his car), all he'd have had was 0points!(well he got that anyway!!!)

weaving underbraking to stay on the dry line(the dry line that was TAKEN) its just foolish, esp with the title at stake. and not within the rules. the guy was along side him plan and simple, thats nothing to do with being agressive. because what lewis did isnt agressive it was just silly. GP2 driving. not needed at all. u dont need to do that to make racing. most of his moves were 100% clean and fine.

with glock, he on that occasion might not of seen him. he had the benefit of the doubt there. but not second time.

the incidnent at spa 07 was one driver taking a wide line out of a corner. not weaving under braking. perfectly fine.

but fia didnt do anything so its ok , roll on next round
