Oh thank god Christmas just came early. I have only three more times to listen to James bloody Allen warble ''GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'' and Louise Goodman ask the inane question of the driver who has just crashed/broken down whether they are disappointed. Sorry for Ted Kravitz as he was good with team info but good riddance to the rest.

This is such a good choice, brilliant. Brundle + Legard, can''t wait. Hopefully BBC will add some ''Red Button'' features: ie Live Timing, different views etc and it should be an improvement. I just hope they show the practice sessions aswell.

oh no not desperate dan (coulthard)i''d sooner have mark blundell.good to see brundle coming over though at least he''s not a yes man and sometimes tells it like it is.

although we could have done with someone like the late james hunt, there was a man that did tell it like it was and didn''t care who he piissed off.

Glad Brundle is staying on - him and Legard will make a good commentary team.

The public cried, "we shalt not have Allen!" and the Beeb replied... "ok"

Singapore in HD will look awesome!

Sounds good to me. Being studio-based is a backwards step imho, but everything else sounds better :)

Not bad apart from the bland Jake Humphrey and the hopeless Lee McKenzie, although at least it's not an Ecclestone girl which was one of my worries. I must be honest when I was watching the Olympics I was wondering who that Humphrey guy was as it was exceedlingly disinteresting, but then the BBC does seem to specialise in dull presenters, Hazel Irvine being at the top of that list.

Hopefully none of these will utter anything like the nonsense that James Allen did yesterday when he said 'If I was the boss of Toyota I'd be wanting...' but James you're not the boss of Toyota, you've never worked in a motorsport team in your life, you're JUST A COMMENTATOR... :?

The main thing I wanted was for Martin to carry on, although I liked Lou as well, but Martin was the main person that made the ITV coverage watchable and listenable.

Can't really comment about the new guys as I haven't watched/ listened to them that much, but I think its a shame DC and Jake will be in a studio in London rather than at the track, that may be a negative thing in terms of the coverage.

I would be quite happy to see Steve Ryder move to front the BTCC as I don't think Ted does it justice - he seems to lack interest and I get the impression he just turns up, presents and then leaves without finding out what is going on.
