What's wrong with Heidfeld?

He's better than Button or Rubens, and in a worse car, has more points than Kimi and Kovalianen this year!

What is people's problem with Heidfeld?

F1 » Honda admit 2009 F1 interest in Heidfeld, Senna

The 2009 F1 silly season kicks up a gear with the revelation that Honda is interested in both Nick Heidfeld and Bruno Senna for next year, as the chances of double world champion Fernando Alonso joining the underperforming Japanese outfit continue to recede.

may be best to drop BOTH current drivers and start with a clean sheet, or am I the only one that thinks Button isn''t the real deal. If he is supposed to be that quick he never seems to be far from RB on the grid.

I think that Honda's long-term slackness is not caused by the drivers, but you, Nick.

Quick Nick could be a clever move for the new low-aero, slick-tired 09 cars. He's pulled off the best overtaking manouevers this year, when we all know that pasing is difficult. I imagine that being able to get close to the car in front before making his move would only improve that.

Nicks problem this year has ben tyre warmth, but thats not going to be so bad relative to other drivers with slicks and no warmers. Honda could really be on to something here.

robsy, i may be wrong, but i think that there was a back down about the tyre warmers, and they are to be allowed. i am not totally sure on this but it was mentioned by a poster on crash.net two months ago. personally , i hope that tyre warmers are banned. more fun!

About Heidfeld, all I'm saying is that if you want an older experienced No.2 driver why not just stick with Rubens?
