I don't agree with the man interviewed for this article.
You so Hamilton oriented. Massa might be inconsistent before but it is because he must support Schumi to win the world champion title. Last year, he must support Kimi after unlucky in some race. UNLUCKY! Please underline that!!!
If today many people still said that he make a mistake. C'mon, most of these year mistake come from his ferrari team. Blown machine, bad setting and wrong tire chosen in Silverstone, and two unsafe pit stop. But look at him, did he ever talk bad about his ferrari team. No! He try the best to win this year title and make this sport enjoy to be watch! Doesn't matter if he or Hamilton that win the 2008 title!

F1 » Massa errors 'not sign of a world champion'

Ferrari's Felipe Massa has made too many mistakes to be a worthy F1 World Champion in 2008, argues Jonathan Palmer - who tips McLaren-Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton to clinch the crown, and Sebastian Vettel to do likewise in the future.

Massa has improved this year. But I don''t really feel he would be a worthy champion. If he wins he wins and no one can take it away from him, there isn''t much room for if and buts in motorsport. I just feel it would be down more to luck & circumstances rather than skill. But he better win by more than the point difference gained at Spa if clinches the crown or we''ll never hear the end of it :)

If I dont like the useless git, I will always be able to find some fickle critism to offer. Massa takes pole and wins. He can only win from pole. Massa wins from other than pole, he was lucky. Massa finishes down the order, he cant pass, Lewis would have passed everyone and won, never mind that in 2004 and 2007 Massa performed the most passes and therefore if somoeone did pass, it was most likely him. He cant drive worth a dam, yet this makes 2 seasons in a row with 4 events left that he was ahead of KR, god's gift to F1, in the points.

Massa does seem to make mistakes when under pressure from a quicker driver behind. But this years ferrari does seem to be a handful to drive, especially in the wet!

i dont think that there has been a WDC who has not made errors. it is easy for palmer to talk lulu up when he is leading by 7 points and the odds are against flip. however, look at 2007, kimi overturned a 17 point deficit so stranger things can happen. massa would be just as worthy a champion as lulu and could have been in an unassailable position if ferrari hadnt stuffed up. anyway, why is palmer suddenly being asked his opinion? has crash run out of b-listers and is now down to c-listers?

FootAri - There is place for 'But' in F1. Contact Max in Dungeon - Ze must be disciplined. Not to mention But-Holes who make PR gaffes, talk loud and senseless are abundant in form of Some team owners and some drivers read Young Sensation who has made F1 a "Common Mans" sport and removed the Image of this being Elitist sports.

Oh surprise, Massa is useless and Hamilton is perfect. Only Hamilton deserves the WDC... If Massa was British, would Mr. Palmer be offering the same opinion? I may be getting on a bit but even I can remember that Lewis 'driving god' Hamilton has made several mistakes this year... The bias is really getting on my nerves, he should know better.

Two things:

At the end, only the pilot with more points deserves the title. It is a premium for overhall performance. That is it!

If we are talking about stupid erros, talk something about how hamilton lost the crown last year.
