Come on Ferrari fanboys explain to us this verdict seeing that McLaren isn't in the picture.

Last year the championship was almost given in the court room this year it is being given by stewards. Funnily enough Ferrari tends to almost always comes out on the top even if just slightly.

Massa riding into Hamilton spoilt a possible good race between them. Sad that it came to that.

Don't forget that drive through penalties can't be challenge in a courtroom so any drive through penalties given after the race is fact and might just decide this year's championship.

Very sad time for F1 indeed.

WTF - as far as I'm concerned, all credibility of the stewards has now been lost. The fact they have the power to make these decisions and are answerable to no-one is madness.

For years Schumie has been bumping wheels and not a word said. The logical outcome for this was a 'racing incident', with no penalty.

We need to encourage overtaking, not fill the drivers heads with risk of points deduction.

I think the Hamilton penalty was partly for the incident and partly for his increasing disregard for other drivers. To calm him down a bit and bring him into line.

Hopefully, an appeal will put right the 2nd Massa incident!

bel these penalties can be challenged its just the procedured has to be correct, but ferrari will do what they did the last time and be on the ball, so STR would be wasting their time money and effort taking it further. I wonder what Red Bull's owner thinks of all this, hopefully he is outspoken, i look forward to after the rerun to get MB x 2's comments

you just watch this season end, if lewis does somehow come out on top despite every effort to stop him the fia will find some way of docking some points or even disqualify mclaren from the championship. There is no doubt in my mind.

Even as a Ferrari fan, I have to say that this decision is unfair. The Stewards had more than enough time to deliver this during the race.......they didn't need to wait until afterwards.
As far as the Lewis Hamilton fans go, GROW UP. Lewis has yet again proven his immaturity on the race track. It cost him the WDC last year and if he continues to drive like he has in Japan, it will cost him this year. Stop blaming Ferrari for his mistakes!!
As far as F1 being biased towards Ferrari, I don't think so, look over the last 8 seasons at the amount of penalties impossed on Ferrari....including Massa being Black Flagged!!

Oh.....my.....god.

I just assumed the investigation would focus on Massa's role in the incident. It never entered my mind that they would penalize Bourdais!!!.

Has anyone ever seen any of these so called 'stewards' in real life? Are they just hiring untrained monkeys from the nearby zoo?!?!

Hamiltons penalty at Spa was a controversial day. This is a truly sad one.
