"....Cannot stand the arrogant Australian ****."

WTF?!? Webbo is one of the most no nonsense, straight talking guys out there. And just about the only one you see admit if he's screwed up, or hasn't done a good enough job. He NEVER makes excuses, or resorts to the eternally worn out 'I've just been unlucky' line that just about every driver uses to avoid taking responsibility for their screwups.

Im always amazed at how some people interpret Webber. I much prefer him over someone who is truly arrogant like Hamilton, who NEVER acknowledges his shortcomings and instead just keeps talking himself up in spite of them.

Webber is one of the most sensible, regular guys in F1.

As an Australian I freely admit (and am disappointed by) the arrogant conduct of some of our "sportsmen", but Webber doesn't fit into that group. I'll bet the house that Gaz is an Englishman and who could forget some of his objective and humble compatriots like Hamilton, Mansel, Mosley and Ecclestone.

I dont find webber arrogant at all perhaps its just evrybody postin on here thinks all the drivers are arrogant. as has been said i think webber is a no BS str8 talkin guy. also RX racer i think that hamilton has owned up 2 quite a few of his own balls ups. Seb has got sum good talent goin on there but also thise season the grid has been more or less reversed on a few occasions and on the occasion seb won that is wat happened. i hope they donr pressure the kid too much a la hamilton.

@ RXRacer,
I was putting some creedance on your post until this:-

Why oh! why turn a decent post into another "bash" of another driver?... :?

"Why oh! why turn a decent post into another "bash" of another driver?..."

Bash? I was simply stating a fact. Just because it happens to be critical does not define it as a 'bash'. No-one can deny Lewis is a mega talent, but even his admirers, and many of them British, are having a hard time denying his increasing arrogance.

Even Bernie Ecclestone, who likes Lewis, can see it. See en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/081017163402.shtml

And besides, my comment had far more to do with defending webber than 'bashing' hamilton. But you can get all hyper sensitive if you like. :)

"webber's started to have to much gob about other drivers"

Once again another clueless crash.net reader shows how little they know about anything and everything.

Webber is the Director of the GPDA (just let me know if your need me tell you what that is too). On top of his PR commitments and media requests he is one of the main drivers queried by the media regarding driving standards, safety etc etc. This often involves talking about other drivers behaviour. And unlike all the drivers who are told by their teams what to say, and when to say it, the media like talking to a guy who doesn't give a **** and says what he feels like.
