I for one like Martin Brundle''s "tell it like it is" approach and hope he moves over to the BBC

F1 » FIA trying to prevent Brundle BBC move?

Rumours have begun sweeping the F1 paddock that the sport's governing body, the FIA, is making efforts to dissuade the BBC from employing popular ITV-F1 commentator Martin Brundle in 2009.

I don''t even get to see current ITV or future BBC coverage, but even so, this is an underhand move by the FIA. Since when do they have the right to dictate who can and can't commentate on a race. Brundle has a pop at Max and this is Max''s revenge? Or is Donnelly doing this off his own bat to stay in Max''s good books. This just shows how Max and his cronies behave and why they should GO, NOW.

They can''t even run their department without question?????????

It's rediculous that the FIA even have ANY say in who can and can't commentate. They are the governing body of the sport, not the bleedin BBC....

Obviously Martin has ruffled some feathers with his straight talking approach.

I wonder if the FIA are going to get translaters in to spy on other countries commentators and see what they are saying too?? I don't live in the UK any more and am certain that the commentators here in Poland don't agree with the way the sport is being governed...

Perhaps a little OTT, but this is a form of communism on the FIA's part. Man speaks against authority, man must be punished.

If I were the FIA I'd make sure I could run my own organisation properly before interfering on another businesses practices.

Childish really Max

Actually, thinking about it a bit more, it just shows how small these people are.

You dare to speak against the FIA's running of the sport, the stupid penalties, the lack of on-track action....and they go after you.

Fans are on your side Brundle.

Not up to standard!!!!!

Martin Brundles commentary breaths life into the sport: he''s an oratory godsend to it. Mad Max is at his childish politics again. The sooner Max is gone the better
