F1 » FIA trying to prevent Brundle BBC move?

So FIA think they can interfere in a man's right to earn a living now? If that right existed would Max be employable anywhere outside the smutty film industry?P

Can we all just remind ouselves that we the british public pay the BBC licence fee every year not the FIA so who the hell do they think they are Martin has my vote all the time you did a good job in my eyes mate long may it continue

max mosley should not have the right to say who should and should not employ anyone. As an avid fan i was dissapointed when F1 went to itv because it meant missing action with the adverts, but what we lost in the adverts we were more than compensated for with the comentary. Martin Brundle is F1 he is the most infomative intelligent and down to earth comentator the race has ever had. The BBC will lose a lot of fans if they listen to max mosley and ignore the obvious tallent of Brundle. The FIA is at times very stupid and for the most petty and childish but this takes the biscuit. Come on BBC grow a spine employ the heart of F1 employ Brundle

Brundle is the only reason i watch the run up to the race and qualifying. How the FIA can interfere with brundles contract of work i will never know. who will we have instead of brundle i very much doubt the rest of the team can tell us wat it is like to drive and race in F1, Jeez the rest of the crew they hav there for next year can probably only just tell us the drivers names let alone anything technical.
And they fine mclaren for throwin the sport into disrepute, doing a good enuff job of it urselves FIA!

I enjoy the way Brundle is happy to actually give his opinion! We've had many controversial calls lately and I for one am glad that he can see the one sided and incompetent nature of some of the call!

My opinion - the BBC has to hire him!! No choice if they want me to keep watching everyweek!

Martin Brundel''s expertise in explaining the F1 is exemplary. His uncompromising opinions are a treat. Murray Walker imbued enthusiasm but lacked the clinical approach of Brundel - a pity that the two could not combine with the BBC to do the commentaries.

Whats next on Max Mosleys agenda, will all new commentators have to swear a oath of loyalty to the FIA complete with nazi salute! Is this how they think that the turn the tide of negative publicity, by only employing yes men who will only support the official view of events. If the BBC cave in to this pressure than what will that say about the their editorial independance.

Formula 1 without Martin Brundle is unthinkable.It is my earnest hope that the BBCgoes with the people who really matter on this, THE FANS!
