F1 » FIA trying to prevent Brundle BBC move?

Why do the FIA have any say who commentates.

If he is not up to standard he will not get the job with the BBC but i think he is great.

the FIA should concentraite on getting the race stewards up to standard.

If that is the case the FIA are breaking the law!
As under current employment law's it is illegal to discredit or give bad reference against someone getting a new job, no matter how good or bad they maybe!
It is a criminal record that prevents people in most cases getting a job!
Just goes to show how very corrupt the FIA really are!
Soon as max and Bernie's regime comes to an end, i hope there will be, more polictal correctness in the FIA, unlike the money grabbing, selfish, two faced idiots that are running the show at the moment!
Go on Martin get the job in the BBC and rub their (Max and Bernies) noses in it!

MM and BE will just refuse the BBC pitlane access, has even been known for commentators (and team owners - Eddie Jordan as I recall)to be denied access to the circuit.... after 2009 we won''t have a British GP anyway.

brundle not only provides witty one liners but also in depth knowledge of the sport and an ability to explain the more technical aspects of f1 for the uneducated

like in china he was explaining the effect toe and camber has on the car etc etc

it'd be terrible to lose him from the commentary box for the races, and his pre race grid walks are always enjoyable to see if he can get choice words out of people...not to mention bernie throwing random dignitaries from vague places at him

donnelly should keep his mouth shut and stay away from f1, he's bad for the sport
