I for one like Martin Brundle''s "tell it like it is" approach and hope he moves over to the BBC

FIA - Ferrari Infront Again

Martin Brundle - ex McLaren.

Maybe the FIA would rather see Michael Schumacher doing the commentry as he's ex Ferrari and the FIA love Ferrari?

Apart from Murray Walker.. who's the best qualified? Martin Brundle - EX F1, knows the sport inside out. what GP was it when they had Damon Hill in the box? an Ex F1 driver is needed, techinal insight.

Im soon gonna give up watching F1.. its a shambles

If F1 wasn't already a complete joke after recent rulings this does it for me! If this is for real then I'll get into 2 wheels rather than put up with this horse crap they call sport. Sick to death of it!!!

Haven't we all heard Bernie Ecclestone described Ring Master of the Formula 1 Circus? That is so apt, no?

I was fortunate to meet Martin a few years back. He was as personable and dry as he is during his commentary. He's honest, experienced and speaks as he finds: attributes which make him arguably the best commentator British viewers could listen to. I would be sorry to see him ousted in this tawdry fashion but we mustn't forget that F1 is an engineering and entertainment business - not a sport in the 'Olympian', amateur sense of the word. As such, we must remember that those who govern the sport and control the finances decide what services race fans get. It's not about us :-(

Whether you like Brundle/the press or not, the issue is censorship. If the FIA is really going to these lengths to remove a top producer who is producing good/bad publicity, erring on the side of good for the most part, then I wonder does Brundle really want to do F1 anymore? Honestly the FIA is just getting silly. Here we are once again on the penultimate race of what should be a stellar season, as last season should have been, and what are we discussing: press censorship. There's something seriously wrong with this so-called sport that I once used to know and love.

If true, this is an utter disgrace. Alan Donnelly has done nothing but interfere for numerous years, and yet he continues to get away with it. Along with this years bizarre, inconsistent decisions by the Stewards, he has been nothing but blight the sport.

Max Mosley has done a lot for F1 and the car industry in general. His safety advancements, pushes for cost cutting and environmentalism are highly commendable, but if he is interfering with these issues then it truly is time to stand down. We know he had a spat with Brundle last year - I take it this is The Revenge.

The FIA should butt out of this and start to run the sport right and stop making stupid decisions.

While I don't agree with this tactic of the FIA you need to remember that this is a club for rich men to play race cars disguised as a sport. They make their own rules, so if you want to play you have to play by their rules.

Typical FIA is at it again Martin Brundle brings a breath of fresh air to F1 coverage and you need someone like him to inject new life into the bbc coverage.

FIA go take a running jump
