I recall a poster here, who lives in Spain, making a closely reasoned argument for the ''blacked up'' faces at the last incident being part of a longer carnival tradition, and I as prepared to acept that.

It seems however that Spain has a serious endemic problem with racism, and it needs to be addressed. What makes it all the more incredible is the broad ethnic make-up of Spain, with a strong heritage from Muslim North Africa as well as the Latin people.

There is never any excuse for this kind of behaviour.

This is a very depressing new low. Rise above it Lewis and make every single one of those posters choke on their evil words!
