Cant see it happening - no doubt Heikki is a good driver, a good guy.. but is he championship material in the same sense of Lewis, Massa, Kimi, Alonso, Kubica, Vettel?

Even if Heikki was Brittish I still don't see Mcl giving him a competive strategy or fuel load out shine the golden child. Mcl have too much invested in Lewis to not put the majority of their resources behind him. If Alonso could not get their full support in Lewis's rookie season there is no way Heikki will get it now that Lewis has proven he can win a championship. He will also have to stop letting Lewis by like he did in France.

Heikki will continue to get heavier fuel loads and will be lucky to qualify in the top 4...McLaren will back Hamilton as the #1 driver. I wonder how much more points Massa would have scored if Ferrari backed him as soon as he started doing better than Kimi back in May. It shows, to win the WDC the team needs to have true #1 and supporting teammate.

Heikki is a lovely guy.

Did you see the photos of him with Lewis and Nicole and Lewi's brother?
(He had his arm around Lewis's brother and was genuinely happy).

Really kind hearted guy who could easily have sulked or been down in the dumps.

Championship material or not, he must surely be the nicest guy in F1 today.
I've never seen someone who looses, so positive and well mannered.

He's not even in the top 5 best drivers.

if youre going to McMercedes you need to know that you will reach 4th, 3rd or maybe even 2nd place in standings but 1st is only for Levis and this scenario every Hamilton's teammate should expect in future. Kovi youre hungry? change the team.
