F1 » Coulthard: We don't have racism problem

I would love to know why when there are prejudices in all walks of life to one degree or another David thinks there are none in F1! By the laws of averages there must be some people in the crowds that watch or the actual people involved in the racing who are racist.To what extent their views are made public is the issue not whether they exist or not.Certainly on this forum alone judging by the number of comments which have to be removed by the moderators,there are more than a few? This is simply an observation from someone who wishes racism did not exist but who is honest enough to know that it does!

If I were Lewis, I would tell Coulthard where to go when it comes to joining him in the RoC. There is racism in F1 as there is in wider society - just because he's not targeted doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Did he not see or hear the racist abuse directed at Lewis in Barcelona testing? Did he not know about the website which had thousands of vile racist messages directed at Lewis? As someone on another website said, if there was a Jewish driver in F1 what would they say if members of the crowd dressed as Nazis and set up a website making Jewish racist comments. As Bernie is Jewish, I'm sure he wouldn't brush that off as a joke.

Coulthard, what a shame you are commenting on F1 on BBC next year. You are an idiot and a blinkered one at that. Shame on you.

The people who so vehemently complain about the criticism of Hamilton appear to me to be guilty of reverse racism, perhaps it's time that certain people understand that it is not Lewis Hamiltons colour that is the issue ,it is his sheer arrogance and selfishness towards other people and drivers,I personally couldn't care less what colour he is I just wish he would show a bit more humility towards others.

DC needs to crawl back under his rock now especially as his last 4/5 years in F1 have been usless he should have retired years ago now if it is true we have to put up with him at the bbc. the only thing he has worked out what to do in the last few years is to not finish races by crashing glad he out of F1 racing now

Seems to me DC is grovelling to the poison dwarf to make sure of his support in getting the job at the beeb. Martin Brundle seems to have ruffled some feathers with his plain speaking and might be out of a job for doing so ?

What is DC's acheivement to make any comments of any sort ?? Hamilton has won championship in his second season in F1. Albeit, We will agree with Sir Lewis and Sir Anthony. Their words are Gospel truth and indeed the Fans, Media, the competitors and the FIA is out to get them, and we should be defending them.

It is totally incredible and unbelievable the way that people like QUENTIN,MERIDENMETAL,TIM-BURR, FLUFFY and others rush to print against anybody saying something not music to their ears the thing that exposes their
Hypocrisy is a week before they would have been singing their prise.
Why don't you try counter other people saying's/writing's with facts and the truth
