Are other motor sport fans entirely fed up with Bernie. The national motor sport calendar cannot be finalised until the GP dates are confirmed in December. What other international sport treats all its participants like this? You can find out when and where the Open Golf is for the next five years. Now we know his only motivation is money - how can his ridiculous power be removed? Ant ideas?

No doubt he can get what he wants from some country that will fund a computer/Tilke designed (boring) track in the desert, with boring 'racing' and no real fans to speak of.
It's time that Mercedes, BMW, et al set up their own series outside the control of Bernie and the FIA, with team agreed rules and full time stewards that have some common sense.
F1 is a joke.

That won't work. You need tracks to race on. And when you want to host a rogue event on your track, FIA will boycot all other classes. F2, F3 and so on wouldn't race at your track anymore.

Races in the desert/far east or nowhere, which would you prefer?? Cant stand this bashing of Bahrain and Abu Dhabi by some, especially considering A.D aint happened yet, leave off it. its getting laughable now-aint exactly their fault they can afford a greedy mans fee..oh and at Bahrain about half the fans fly in for the event and tend to be europeans working in the area..out of those going from Bahrain its about 50/50 local to expats and I dear say a vast amount have been watching F1 as long as everybody on here.
Its a shame Canada aint going to put up the cash but then its a matter of principal and they aint going to be held to ransom by a wee troll like B.E and fair play to them for that

Way to go Bernie, you gnome-shaped, hopeless little jerkwad.

Not only do all the teams and many sponsors really, really want a North American race, thus Bernie's letting them down, but I for one think Montreal made for a great F1 circuit. Not the best perhaps, but I'm really disappointed by the way we lose all the classics in one go.
Magny-cours, Montreal, Silverstone, all heading out this year or next... And much as I like some of the new circuits for racing, they don't all have that same touch of class. And I really can't see how Donington will be ready in time!
And now word that Jiading might be on it's way out too? Put in some bloody effort Bernie, not just making the big cash deal!

Greed, pure and simple.
The powers that be demand constant improvements to the facilities plus every increasing payments from the circuit owners to host events.
Are these bozzos not aware that there is a global recession.
Silverstone is gone, Canada now, probably China too.
F1 is coming apart whilst the usual suspects continue to feather their nest. Pathetic.

many years ago in the UK there was a company called ICI, and it was imense and had business interests in just about everything. Now I would bet that many people would not have heard of them, I believe they are still going but not nowhere near as they were years ago.
BE and his F1 circus is the same, a few years ago it would have been inconcievable for him to be turned down as everyone wanted in. But the writing is on the wall as people are saying to him, it's to much.
BE and his circus has peaked and there is only one way for it to go. The credit crunch has hit the motor industry hard and I think they will cut there cloth. BE should take notice as his ride on the gravey train is nearly over.
