Hmm. Are Red Bull / Toro Rosso trying to set a record for highest number of ''Sebs'' ever run in one season? I jest, of course.

Nice one Takuma Sato - if he gets the go ahead I can see a Toro Rosso being on the podium next year, just look back at results with button.

I was thinking the same - just when Piquet thought his year couldn't get any worse...

Were they running different spec cars? Maybe Piquet was carrying a 2009 wing or something?

If - the Renault and Torro Rosso are running the same regs (old or new) - then Alonso's team mate, really does flatter Alonso if he's beaten by a rally driver.

I guess at the end of the day, Hamilton (a rookie) equalled Alonso in his first year of F1 when he didn't even know the circuits yet.

Steve, not taking anything away from your point, but Hamilton knew many of the circuits from GP2.

Unbelievable.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loeb fastest than picket and many f1 experienced drivers,,,,,,,!!!!!!oooooooof

He's a french in a french car then probably renault can call him to replace picket and outpace or equal Alonso.

I am impressed

Remember that there was a real mix of cars out there, Torro Rosso running grooved tyres and 2008 spec car, Honda 2008 car with 2009 aero but slick tyres and other mix & match cars. Not very useful overall, only useful to the individual teams data.

Damn!!! If Schumi was still in F1 we could have a three way swap...
Loeb to Ferrari, Rossi to Citroen and Schumi to Yamaha. Musical chairs to end all musical chairs! We can only dream...
