Hopefully another team will have enough sense to hire Bourdais if Sato and Buemi buy their seats. He is an extremely talented driver.

I'll never watch another F1 race if Bourdais loses his seat because of money.

Thank you Dany
Yes Sebastien is a great driver. he won every championship he was part. for sure its four wins in champ car were impressive: 1st in 42% time.
this year he joined STR, lowest budget in front of force India.
he had vettel as team mate: impressive driver who is going to gain the title soon. good luck to webber next ye***** Even vettel recognized to have use Seb set up.
Seb was in front of vettel half time. He performed 6 Q3, 1 P1 in Q1 (spa), 2nd quickest time in race (monza). he deserved at least 30 points at the end. but everybody knows what happened: massa, trulli, gearboxes, engine failure...
He is a strong flagship for a F1 Team!

Very sad news indeed.
The kind of thing that almost always end up in the good guy having to quit in order to make way for money bringing pilot.
And as much as i hope too that some other team will give him a call if STR don't keep him, i think that if it was to happen, it would already have.
Anyway, we will take back anytime here in America, where he will be treated with the respect due to a pilot of his class.

I REALLY hope they hire Sato and Bourdais. Sato is actually mindblowingly quick, he is by far the best japanese driver that have raced in F1 through the years. And I like Seabass as well, he have been performing pretty good this year, he have been outperformed by his teammate, but then again Vettel might just be the quickest guy in F1 atm

why do talented drivers like bourdais risk loosing their seats due to MONEY
He did a good job in tha latter half of 2008 and deserves to be retained
Sato is NOT the way forward , He is the most unpredictable drivers in the feild ,
He did nothin at BAR Honda, whilst button was on average 0.5 secs quicker at most tracks :D

if the seat is purely financial, i reckon that str would like to have the most capable drivers, to score points and thus increase income. of the three that appear to be in consideration, i would think that the two sebs would be the best, even though i am disappointed with seb b performance so far, at least there would be continuity. buemi has better prospects, but there again, sato may come with a large wallet of cash!
