From day to day I become more disappointed on the performance STR
management shows off these days! I think we don''t have to discuss
about sebastiens driving skills anyway - his potential should
be obvious to everyone though he had a rather "poor" season. But
looking at the comments he makes and the team radios in FP, it''s
convincing me more and more that he''s a unique guy in the paddock
who analyses his situation as rationally as noone else would ever
do! What else could u wish for?! Instead of complaining he always
finds the strenght to move him and his team forward...

I fear the day when STR announces its lineup...

frank g. have you not been watching str this year. they have come from being a back marker to winning a GP and being consistently at front, courtesy of seb v, wh, as far as i know, did not come with a shed full of money, but got the drive on his ability. give them the credit they deserve. further, i dont think that even seb b came with stacks of money. str took a gamble when others had dismissed him. i dont think that the gamble worked, but we'll see.

Yes Nanbawan you're quite correct in the French, and everyone else, starting their own teams in the '80s. There were two key factors in this happening: 1.Low costs 2.Ford Cosworth engines.

Funny how Mosely has been lately talking about: 1.Cutting costs 2. Single engine manufacturer.

Drivers like Sebastian Bourdais have always been caught in the middle when it comes to bringing money to teams. There are many men whom are capable of driving well enough to stay in the sport. Remember the 'greats' Vittorio Brambilla, Jonathan Williams, and Stefan Johansson? All drove when costs were acceptable.
